Whai

Web application for teachers

Challenge

In one of our most fruitful collaborations, we joined forces with Eleven Lab, an accelerator known for its exceptional focus on UI/UX design, to work on the Whai project. This startup, emerging from Eleven Lab, had an ambitious goal: to digitalise teaching in schools, providing innovative tools for both teachers and students, thus helping them navigate and choose their educational paths more effectively. Our challenge was to take the impressive design provided by Eleven Lab and adapt it perfectly across all devices, ensuring a flawless and accessible user experience for all involved.

Implementation

We took on the challenge with enthusiasm, committed to adjusting and optimising Whai’s design for technical implementation. Our work focused on precisely adapting these designs to different platforms, ensuring their functionality and efficacy in the educational environment. Close collaboration with Eleven Lab and Whai was key to this process, allowing us to deeply understand the project’s needs and expectations. As a result, Whai became an educational tool that began to be implemented in some schools, as early adopters or beta users, being tested and receiving positive feedback from teachers and students alike.

Result

Despite the initial success and the potential for significant impact in the educational sector, Whai faced an insurmountable obstacle: the lack of financial resources necessary to continue its development and expansion. The difficulty in securing sufficient investment resulted in the tough decision to halt the project. It was particularly disappointing for our team, as Whai not only represented a technical development project we were proud of but also a project with which we deeply identified, given its vision of transforming education. Although Whai did not progress according to its original roadmap, it remains in our memory as an example of what collaboration, innovation, and technology can achieve in the educational world.
